COVID-19 Response – Important Information for students
Mt. Ommaney Driving School cares about the safety and wellbeing of all our students and instructors. We are constantly monitoring government health advice and regulations during this time.

To reduce the risk to our students, instructors and the wider community, we are implementing the following safety measures:
Upgraded hygiene practices for our instructors to follow before, during and after every driving lesson and driving test. Instructors are sanitising hands before, during and after each lesson/test. Instructors are sanitising all vehicle surfaces, controls and handles with disinfectant before and after every driving lesson and driving test. Hand sanitiser or antibacterial wipes will be available to all students who are entering the vehicle

We require the following from students:

  • If you are feeling unwell or have flu like symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who is unwell, please postpone your lesson and reschedule 14 days after notification. There will be no late cancellation fee for any lessons cancelled due to students experiencing any flu like symptoms.
  • If your instructor thinks you may be unwell, we reserve the right to terminate the lesson at any stage and postpone your lesson to another time. Your lesson booking may be changed or postponed to another time if your instructor is feeling unwell.
  • We ask that all students maintain good hygiene by washing your hands before and after your driving lesson and avoid touching your face.
